Hardware - Proliant server, dual Intel PIII, 256M RAM. Installation via SSH+HTTP. Installation on 2-drive RAID5 SCSI array behind Compaq Smart-Array. More details: after starting the installation system, but before running yast, I had no problems running fdisk, creating filesystems, creating swap space, mounting a file system and creating a file on it. This looks like a memory leak to me. When I boot up the computer, it gets all the way through logging in to the one-and-only user's account, without ever asking for a password---meaning, anyone who turns on the computer has access to that user's files. I've checked the KDE Login Manager (kdm config), and neither "Enable password-less logins" nor "Enable auto-login" is checked. I've even tried checking them, hitting "apply," unchecking them, and hitting "apply" without apparent effect. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install from KDE live CD milestone 7, use standard install, create a single user account. 2. Boot up computer, notice that the user is not required to supply a password to log in to his/her account. Actual Results: User gains access to account without supplying password. On the other hand, as our translations are replaced with upstream ones every time a merge is done for the desktop files, some bad translations can appear again (and it won't be fixed by us at time as they are not marked as fuzzy). I installed the bought package of fluendo. I tried to get windows media working with totem and gstreamer removing kaffeine and xine-lib. So when I run process, it started to remove all kde packages. I cancelled removing and I installed it back with history-log. Now flash sound, windows media sound and so on is working, but I don't have KDE start sound. I attach alsa and pulse logs to this. I'm not sure is this bug or some internal error. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Remove and install kde apps 2. Try to get sound from KDE 3.
