These patches add mailnly 3 features. a) First two patches include new devices in rdac handler b) patch 3 fixes a potential bug. b) Next three patches include on the fly debug functionality to rdac handler. For the volume adjustment, take a look at https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=407060#c12 where I had some similar remark. It seems, on my hardware, there are 2 configurations for opening the usb sound device and depending on which one is used the one volume setting or the other works.
