The floppy behaves exactly like describes in bug 105871 for 10.0. However USB sticks work fine. The openvpn server requires x509 authentication hence I have the following three files: CA, CERT and privete key. The private key is encrypted. The menu offers help, but the help submenu only offers 'report bug' and two about boxes. A user who started knetworkmanager is likely to also want to start networkmanager. But no instructions are provided from knetworkmanager. I suggest to add a 'Howto start NetWorkManager' entry in the help menu. But my university uses the tls-remote option, which is NOT supported by NetworkManager. (See here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-openvpn/+bug/1162… including a patch) Is there a fixed openvpn(-kde)-package?
