I can connect perfectly to it when using the following commands: wpa_supplicant -ieth0 -Dwext -c/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf -B iwconfig eth0 essid <ssid> dhclient eth0 /etc/wpa_supplicant contains only the lines: network={ ssid=<ssid> psk=<PSK in encrypted form> } I consider this feature a higly required one. It's a show stopper if it can not be used in such an environment. According to KDE Bug Tracking System this is a distribution specific error so for that reason I report it here. The steps required to reproduce the error are: 1 Open KDE Help Center 2 Click, under Contents tab, on Administration 3 Click, under Contents tab, on Hardware 4 Click, under Contents tab, on Cups Now a page is displayed on "Common Unix Printing System 1.2.7" Directly under this title there are a number of tabs (selectable fields) displayed respectively: Home, Administration, Classes, Documentation/Help, Jobs and Printers. Clicking on Admin, Classes, Doc/Help, Jobs and Printers results in the reported errors: "Unable to run command specified. When the screensaver is active the unlock window can be prompted with any keypress or mous movement. This window asks the user for an unlock password and shows three buttons beneeth the textfield for the password. This window shows non logical behaviour to the use of arrow keys. Using the up and down arrow keys makes the focus move through the window field and buttons. The left and right arrow keys show no behavior except activating the window from a blanked screen. Although the responce to the arrowkeys can be a fine feature besides the function of the tab button for moving the focus, it is also not consistent with expected window focus behaviour, not conform the gnome accessability standard, is a pain when trying to use keys to activate the window and then start to type the password and minimizes the number of keys to show the window without affecting the window behaviour. This can be found in the SUSE 10.2 or in the packages provided in KDE:/Backports for 10.1/. The system has two 36GB SCSI disks which I have configured as a RAID0; I am attempting to install OpenSUSE 10.2 onto the RAID0. During installation, the grub configuration tool in yast proposes that it install itself to an obviously bogus device: > setup --stage2=/boot/grub/stage2 (hd0) (/dev/mapper/asr_RAID,4) "(/dev/mapper/asr_RAID,4)" is not a grub device; the proper device name in this case is "(hd0,4)". The menu.lst file suffers a similar fate with things like this: > root (/dev/mapper/asr_RAID,4) Just prior to the first boot, the installer trips over the bad device names when it tries to install grub. I also noticed that the grub device map is suspiciously devoid of hdX entries: > (fd0) /dev/fd0 <EOF> It appears that these dmraid device file names are not being translated into grub's "(hdX..." syntax, nor is a device.map mapping set up. The end result is that grub fails to install. If I tell yast to put "(hd0) /dev/mapper/asr_RAID" into device.map, the menu.lst file fixes itself and grub installs fine.
