This breaks playing Ogg Vorbis audio in Banshee. The error message is: "Missing element 'audioresample' - check your GStreamer installation." Installing gstreamer010-plugins-base-oil resolves the issue. Document, which describes them (with comments from AJ) is here: http://users.suse.cz/~locilka/Installation/screenshots/2ndstage_overview/ Internet Test is described by the 4th screen and 2 another below. Screen Internet Test: 1.) Test via eth-id-00:... doesn't say anything about the interface (e.g., DHCP, IP, Hostname, Device Name, Provider for Dial-up). - This is very important, I'll attach some screenshot from DHCP Server that also offers to select one network interface from a list. See pieces of information that are printed there. 2.) An icon could be placed before the interface name to distinguish between DSL, Lan, Modem... - Not important, only cool, on the other hand, being cool is what we want, istn't it :)? 3.) Maybe another dialog icon (network-test) could be used - this current one is for network in general. - Not important, if there is no such icon, just leave it alone... Screen Network Device Select: 1.) The same (first and second) notes as for the previous dialog. - See the DHCP dialog attached below, I'd propose using almost the same dialog but maybe additionally with 22x22 icons on the left side: [card] for LAN... I select "ignore" or "abort" and just after that I have to confirm (btw. I have no other choice since there is only one, "ok", button) that I know what I did just a 0.1 second ago. Pure absurd. If I say "ignore", then ignore, please do not make me click on another button "you said >>ignore<<". After some time the crash analyser window pop up and say that some unknown application(nspluginviewer) crashed (on trace will follow). I already rebooted the machine, same behavior. A second thing is, that nspluginviewer blocks soundsystem since the update, no application can use it as long here are nspluginviewer processes are running. This bug is most annoying on the www.wikipedia.org pages. On every article the heading is printed partly inside the article text below. To reproduce this you only have to install opera (it doesn't care if you take the package from SUSE or Opera itself) and have scim-qtimm installed. If you uninstall scim-qtimm this bug goes away. And it happens. With xgl, it happens frequently and I'll describe below. Without xgl crashes happen occasionally. Crashes occur when all of the following conditions are reached: 1.With working xgl/compiz 2.The SCIM/SKIM IM is NOT the default "Keyboard" nor "Eng/Euro". In my case, I tried some Chinese IMs like pinyin. With keyboard IM on, QT apps do not crash. 3.The second new window made by the parent QT3 app will be followed by a crash. I know it sounds tricky and strange though, it happens. Taking Kopete for instance. Open kopete,fine. Turn on Chinese pinyin IM, click a friend in the list and it would produce the 1st new window with success. No matter you close this new window or not, clicking another friend. it would pop up the 2nd new window then the window flashed to disappear. That means the Kopete crashed. In fact, qt3 apps(Opera/kbabel/Kopete......) would crash if it was called to creat a 2nd new window with a Chinese IM on. I restart skim manually in shell, it does say anything wrong no matter there's a crash or not.
