I've got a Treo 650 that I'm trying to sync with my SUSE 10 laptop. So far, no luck. I thought it might be as simple as starting kpilot and then pressing the hotsync button on the USB cradle, but it doesn't appear that the device is being seen (no /dev/pilot file). Some issues with syncing I've googled have been related to that file not having the proper permissions, but in this case it's not even being created.
