I've got a Treo 650 that I'm trying to sync with my SUSE 10 laptop. So
far, no luck. I thought it might be as simple as starting kpilot and
then pressing the hotsync button on the USB cradle, but it doesn't
appear that the device is being seen (no /dev/pilot file).
Some issues with syncing I've googled have been related to that file not
having the proper permissions, but in this case it's not even being
created.
This is the output of /var/log/messages when the device is plugged in
and I hit the hotsync button:

Anyone had any luck with this?

Initially, when I got my Treo 650 last year I had some minor problems. On SuSE 10.0, I have /dev/ttyUSB1 set. Note that /dev/ttyUSB1 does not exist until you press the hot sync button. I don't use kpilot. -- Jerry Feldman

So what program do you use to sync? I wanted to be able to sync
calendar & tasks, for example. Ideally with Evolution, but KOrganizer
would work as well.
Thanks.
