I've got a Treo 650 that I'm trying to sync with my SUSE 10 laptop. So
far, no luck. I thought it might be as simple as starting kpilot and
then pressing the hotsync button on the USB cradle, but it doesn't
appear that the device is being seen (no /dev/pilot file).
Some issues with syncing I've googled have been related to that file not
having the proper permissions, but in this case it's not even being
created.
This is the output of /var/log/messages when the device is plugged in
and I hit the hotsync button:

Anyone had any luck with this?
