If you switch from radeonhd to a console or to fglrx xorg, the pallettes are all messed up and weird. Writing 0 instead of anything else fixes it, however this is a hack that WorksForMe. Hopefully this helps in finding a proper solution. Cheers, Maarten.

Framebuffer corruption ?

Hi, I have a radeon mobility M64S, and when i switch to the console, i have strange colors and lines. the text is readable, but with splashy, you can easily see the corruption problem. I use the tonight 'git pull' and attached some pictures to illustrate the problems. Tanks. Laurent Marchal.

Maybe we should try a usleep(1000) after resetting the spread spectrum. I've checked AtomBIOS code but it doesn't really give a good clue of what to do here. not working switch to console

Hi, I tried new driver after few days and switch to console (ctrl+alt+FXX) stoped working and still not working adjusting brightness level on my IBM T60 (X1300) - using Fn key(thinkpad-acpi stuff) Both were working in past using radeonhd driver. Xinerama as the original Xinerama in the Xserver should be supported as far as it is supported in X. The other thing is what other drivers call 'merged mode' where you have one framebuffer but different viewports form the different crtcs. This is something we don't have in our driver yet.
