The Linux kernel is 3.5.0-25. When the system resumes, usually because of opening the lid of the laptop, but also if I manually suspend and resume without closing the lid, the backlight is not turned on. Debian 6.0 on Thinkpad T500 with Mobility Radeon HD 3650

Hi, I am a little frustrated. Since days I try to get the right driver for my graphic card to work. System: Debian 6.0 on Thinkpad T500 with Mobility Radeon HD 3650 I did everything so far suggested in the world wide web. I tried many wikis on that subject. I never had success. I always got a black screen. Since I am very inexperienced with x11, I don't know what to do anymore. Could somebody please help me.
