I did a fresh install of Leap 15.3 on my test SSD, made sure it has first priority on GRUB (and not my main m.2 with Leap 15.3). Added repositories/Kernel:stable:Backport/standard/Kernel:stable:Backport.repo and only installed kernel-default and 5.16 got installed, reboot to make sure everything is OK. Confirmed after boot and desktop that 5.16 was installed. Shutdown, turned the monitor OFF, booted the system, after 30 seconds turned the monitor ON 'DisplayPort NO Signal'! Had to switch to Console 1 to gain command line to reboot into my main m.2 Leap. :( Same steps and MX Linux didn't have problems showing the desktop, same is true with Windows 11, but I like openSUSE ;) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
