I'm currently still running 5.7.12 - which I originally stuck to because of the VirtualBox issues. The below output is all with the latest kernel version 5.8.7 in TW. You could login using your external USB keyboard to login into the icewm Xsession, but I guess there the internal keyboard won't work either unless you're using gdm running on Wayland and KDE session was also a Wayland session and the issue only occurs on Wayland, but not on X. This meas, I can select IceVM / PLasma (Wayland/Full Wayland) with the touchpad BUT the keyboard is still unavailable to enter an username / password. I just updated to the latest kernel (kernel-default-5.8.7-1.2.x86_64) and I'm facing the same problem. The root file system is btrfs in an encrypted LVM container. The file system performance has unfortunately greatly degraded and is starting to negatively impact my workflow: just downloading a larger image over the internet (download rate <= 12.5MB/s) causes the system load to go up by quite a bit and additional writes to the file system take a noticeable amount of time to finish (e.g. saving a text document takes a few seconds). Unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea how to debug this issue. I used to have compression enabled to save some space on the SSD, but turned it off everywhere via chattr & a full defrag (but that did not really solve the issue). Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I don't really want to reinstall with xfs or ext4 on /.
