This makes it impossible to install the kernel-firmware packages from the Kernel:stable repo in OBS on openSUSE_Leap_15.1. Can this be fixed like it has been for all other kernel related packages (see boo#1175882)? It worked until very recently, like 2 days ago. I cannot remember if it broke after an update. $ tumbleweed status latest : 20200923 target : 20200128 installed: 20200923 For example: $ sudo mount -o loop -t ntfs /mnt/dfir sda.img mount: sda.img: failed to setup loop device for /mnt/disk. So, is nvme module in your initrd at all? Using AMD RX580, plasma5, X11. The defect seems to disappear with kernel-default from Kernel:stable (switching to Mesa from X11:XOrg doesn't appear to have any positive effect).
