Looks like a regression in Wayland on Tumbleweed. No idea, why the Wayland desktop switches from the native resolution to a lower one. Makes no sense to me. I can imagine that Leap 15.2 kernel on TW might show the same problem, though; i.e. it's something in Wayland that limits the resolution.
