That's what I expected, but when I tried before asking, I got panel options, not task manager settings. I thought KDE10 had found some new paradigm for adjusting task manager settings. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." FYI, what used to be called the "taskbar" in KDE Workspaces terms is the "Task Manager", because the panel can contain other widgets (and the task manager is a widget itself). -- Luca Beltrame - KDE Forums team KDE Science supporter GPG key ID: 6E1A4E79

Not sure if this issue is due to a confusion between panel and task manager, but 'Task Manager settings' is the entry you want. If you right-click on an empty part of the task bar you'll see 'Task Manager settings' followed by 'Panel settings' in the popup menu, whereas if you click on a task bar entry, you'll see Task Manager settings somewhere after the controls specific to that entry. At the time of my OP, there was no empty part of the task bar apparent, being fully occupied by tasks that were both sorted and grouped. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." You can also right-click on any entry and you'll still see the "Task Manager Settings" in the popup -- Best regards/Schöne Grüße Martin () ascii ribbon campaign - against html e-mail /\ www.asciiribbon.org - against proprietary attachments -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
