Where does one turn off sorting and grouping of taskbar items in 4.10?
Right click on the task manager -> Task manager settings -> Grouping -> No grouping
In the same page select "No sorting" from the "Sorting" option.
That's what I expected, but when I tried before asking, I got panel options, not task manager settings. I thought KDE10 had found some new paradigm for adjusting task manager settings.
Not sure if this issue is due to a confusion between panel and task manager, but 'Task Manager settings' is the entry you want. If you right-click on an empty part of the task bar you'll see 'Task Manager settings' followed by 'Panel settings' in the popup menu, whereas if you click on a task bar entry, you'll see Task Manager settings somewhere after the controls specific to that entry.
