Feature #304973, revision 11
Title: Allow removing of comments before save
- openFATE: Rejected by Joachim Plack (jplack)
+ features.opensuse.org: Rejected by Joachim Plack (jplack)
reject date: 2016-08-01 12:47:37
reject reason: openFate is maintainance mode currently.
Thus restart editing and copy-paste from the old window is acceptable
Priority
Requester: Important

Description:
Situation: You added a comment to a feature, but did not save yet. Now
you realize that the comment is misleading/inappropriate/not-
wellinfomred/perhaps not correct/for the wrong feature. Whatever, but
you decide that you want to remove the comment (simpliest reason: You
added it to the wrong thread:) ), not just edit it.
This is currently not possible. So besides the 'edit' a 'delete' action
should be added to new created comments.
The workaround (reloading feature) is not good, as you would loose all
other changed things on the feature.

Certainly a very useful enhancement. Strictly speaking more desirable
than important, but I know most of us have been bitten by this as well
(for example when downgrading one than more PM priority from
mandatory).

Only desirable for openFATE, since there are not so many editable
fields yet.
