Hi, we will be able to access venue two the following slots: * Friday 19th from 7 a.m. to 8:30 to design the work we will be doing. We have to be there with at least one person that speaks Czech. * Sunday at 13 hours the second venue will be free so we will be there to get control of the venue at that time. Again, we will need somebody that speaks Czech. So we cancel the idea of delaying the conference on Monday. [opensuse-conference] Monday Oct 22nd schedule

Hi, during the weekend there will be an event in Masaryk college, so we cannot access the facilities. I will negotiate on Monday directly with the manager of the second venue possible solutions. If I cannot find any or they are enough to ensure the access to the building we will delay the beginning of the conference one hour, reducing the time for lunch. I will notify this through this mailing list. @Michal, be ready to change the schedule on the website. @Will, be ready to communicate to attendees and speakers this delay. @Juergen, be ready to modify the printed version on the schedule. Please, post in this mailing list further consequences of this delay to know how to preceed. Nobody is a good spell and grammar checker for his own texts. Tomorrow I'll try to translate it to Spanish, but this will need many more corrections. Marco

[opensuse-conference] so what's Jos up to...

Heya all, Just to let you know what's going on with the interviews: Got feedback from Thijs (speaker I interviewed) that the interview is OK so RIGHT NOW uploading to blip.tv, youtube follows later. Finished editing the video of Bas vd Abel, asked him for feedback. Will edit the video of Georg Greve tomorrow. Should all be in time (JUST in time) for a nice article on Thursday... The article itself can still use some editing and I especially hope the interview with Shane will be done in time (hint hint!) On a related note, I said I'd take care of communication to the conference participants. Will is going to help a bit with promo tasks, so I asked him to prepare a nice, energetic mail about adding lightning talks and BoF sessions by conf participants. I also prepared 4-5 other mails for conf participants and speakers. [opensuse-conference] rooms for the conference

Hi, I have confirmed that we will be using all four lecture halls in the first venue. So Gentoo track will take place in the lecture hall instead of upstears. We will have to decide how we arrange the contents assigned to the third floor rooms now that we have another big room available. This give Gentoo a more prominent space and make easier for attendees and organization the logistics.
