Hello,
I don't know what to tell you really. The Leap package is slightly ahead of Factory due to pending https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/609017 so I expect TW to also be broken soon. I suspect there might be a typo in the translations. Maybe you could open a bug report with a screenshot or something.

Hi Markos
I yesterday updated firewalld to version 0.5.3, which fixes a minor bug in the German language package.
While it works for Tumbleweed, I realized that in Leap 15.0 the bug still exists. In fact, looking at /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/firewalld.mo reveals that it still contains the typo "Firwall".
Any idea?
Thank you.
Best regards
Frank

"Firwall-Einstellungen..." should read "Firewall-Einstellungen..."
Is this worth a bug report or to whom should I forward this e-mail?
Thank you.
Best regards

Actually, this typo exists once in de.po (introduced by SUSE translator) FYI, I reported this bug some time ago upstream, and it was supposed to be fixed in version 0.5.3. For TW this seems to be the case.

pot don't differ between versions 0.5.2 and 0.5.3. So po updates can be recycled.
But as both SUSE and upstream have a different sets of bugs, some type of smart merge should happen.
I cannot verify quality of translations, but SUSE version does not contain strings that are apparent nonsense (formatting errors, content errors).
Using SUSE translation with two typo fixes for Leap (and SLE): https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/610998
For Tumbleweed, let's merge SUSE translations upstream. It will take some time. SUSE decided to pay for translation late in the release process, and there was not enough time to join translation teams on Zanata.
Frank Kruger: When I reviewed the complete SUSE diff, I found more upstream nonsense translations in 0.5.3.
Can we close it as resolved?
