I got these files in the folder etc/X11/xorg.conf.d file:///etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf # Catch-all evdev loader for udev-based systems # We don't simply match on any device since that also adds accelerometers # and other devices that we don't really want to use. I'm wondering why these files are still in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d. They have moved to /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d meanwhile. No wonder that the evdev config files are preferred if the config file for libinput is in /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d now. Config files for both packages - xf86-input-libinput and xf86-input-evdev - should be below /usr/share now ... That's how it is supposed to be: xf86-input-libinput: /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/40-libinput.conf xf86-input-evdev: /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/11-evdev.conf /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-elotouch.conf Only config file remaining (generated on runtime) should be /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/00-keyboard.conf Could it be that you're playing with an ancient evdev package? Please check this # rpm --changelog -q xf86-input-evdev * Fr Mr 12 2021 Dirk Mller <dmueller@suse.com> - refresh spec file (move licenes) * Di Jul 30 2019 Stefan Dirsch <sndirsch@suse.com> - move all xorg.conf.d snippets from /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d to /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d (boo#1139692) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Andrey fixed the proximity event generation for tablets and the handling of devices without axes but buttons - previously those were assumed to be keyboards in the server. Better error reporting from Christian and the rest are build system fixes that went into all xorg repositories. * Mo Mai 29 2017 sndirsch@suse.com - includes everything needed for missing sle issue entries: fate #320263, fate#315643-315645, 319159-319161, 319618 (bsc#1041371) - 50-elotouch.conf: Make sure an 'TouchSystems CarrollTouch 4500U' is an absolute device (bnc#876089, bsc#1041371) maybe I added package sources i should have not? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Seems you're mixing Leap 15.3 with Tumbleweed packages. Oh well, you're indeed mixing sle15, sle15-sp1, sle15-sp2, sle15-sp3, factory and tumbleweed repositories (with the same priorities as you wrote). I have no good advisory here. Changing things here, i.e. decide for Tumbleweed (x)or Leap 15.x - may ruin your system completely! I only can wish you the best. It's basically a messed up sytem we cannot support at all. :-( -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
