Hi Jonathan, do you have enough information to look at this? Any action required on my side?
Thanks
Sorry for the delay, just came back from America last week and spent the whole week applying schengen VISA and other trivial stuff. I do have a few question to make things clear: 1. Which VPN type do you use? 2. Where do you store the password(store the password for all users or only this user)? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I do have a few question to make things clear: 1. Which VPN type do you use?
openVPN
2. Where do you store the password(store the password for all users or only this user)?
I log in as a normal user, left click the Network Manager, choose the VPN Connections item, click on "Configure VPN", click on my connection "SUSE", click on tab "VPN", click on the Password field (Store the password only for this user), then I click "Save" ----- I do not get any error messages, but the save is ineffective. When I try to look at the configuration again, the password field is empty (I would expect "*****"). Thanks -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Looks like password never got saved in the secret agent according to these logs provided. At my working system, there is such a line of logs:
agent-manager: req[0x56043bed5db0, :1.254/org.gnome.Shell.NetworkAgent/1000]: agent saved secrets for request
Do you find any logs similar after saving the connection or something saying:
agent failed save secrets request

Could you please provide the whole system log when this happens? I wonder whether there are some errors from the secret agents or something else. Thanks. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
