Looks like password never got saved in the secret agent according to these logs
provided.

At my working system, there is such a line of logs:
> agent-manager: req[0x56043bed5db0, :1.254/org.gnome.Shell.NetworkAgent/1000]: agent saved secrets for request

Do you find any logs similar after saving the connection or something saying:
> agent failed save secrets request
