2. YaST attempts to create a too small btrfs partition in some circumstances. This causes the install failure.
This is something that I've opened a new boo#995782 to track, since this is an issue that happens completely separately to this bug.
On the third install, the same partitions are created as the first install. However, I manually overrided to partitioner to create the second partition setup, and also disabled Secure Boot in the firmware and in bootloader settings. This also failed to boot after install.
Can you try to do this third reinstall again with the same setup as the first install? I found in my testing that the failures are on alternating installs (the 1st, 3rd, 5th, etc installs would boot properly). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
