Next I moved this quest to machine with tg3 driver used. Xen guest successfully booted but ethernet did not work also for 2.6.16.21-0.13-xen kernel on Xen guest system. Very bad situation of course. If you change it and Finish, the next time you boot you will see that it is back at 'do not refreh'. Seems you can not refresh manually also. Conclusion: Enabling refresh in Yast is impossible. Likewise the Yast2 power management module says it can not connect to DBUS daemon though it is running in root mode. Nevertheless DBUS is running.
