Trying to do so. Once more failed to resume, this time in yet another different way. Tried to resume. Saw a screen with mouse pointer only, no password prompt yet displayed. Moved mouse pointer at this point. Saw screen filled with black and white stairs-like pattern. Pointer moves, but no responses to keys. Then Alt-Ctl-f6 switched to tty 6. Then 4 strings of some log messages about `eth0' appeared. No responses to any other keys, including switching to other virtual terminal, or Alt-Ctl-Del. I tried the same procedure as above. Replaced glibc from the repository mentioned in comment #70 and did a reboot, which went OK. However "zypper dup --no-recommends" ended the same as above; did not boot, not a single character on the console. When will a new image be available? When I opened this bug, the version of Salt in SLE-15 was 2017.7.2. Now that we are on Salt 2018.03 we don't have this problem anymore.
