If I enter and save my password which contains an umlaut, I'm unable to open the wallet with this password again. I have to delete the wallet and create a new one with the kwalletmanager and the password works even with umlaut correctly. I don't know if this error is upstream or not. This is odd, because it is such an evident bug that I hardly belief nobody did report it. So forgive me if I am mistaken. System: openSUSE 12.1, KDE 4.7.2 rev.5, 64.bit. Issue: when you open Dolphin (in my case e.g. in Documents (documenti, I am using the Italian interface), and you change the colour of the folders, click O.K. and then ....finds everything unchanged. I thought the change of properties did go wrong entirely but no. If you open Dolphin in "superuser mode" the icons are displayed in the right colour. So the change takes place but is not visible in dolphin usermode. The permissions are correctly set, the system is running on "secure" file permissions, as of standard proposal in YAST. This is a fresh, not an updated install. No login as root or whatsoever hanky panky business took place on this machine, guaranteed. Maybe that has to do with the icon set, as root uses his own one if I am not mistaken. I did put all details below. And sorry should this have been reported already, I did not find it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open document folder 2. change the properties: change the icon colour 3. say O.K. Actual Results: Icon colour stays the same, but the change happened. Only that it is visible exclusively in dolphin "super user mode". There they are correctly displayed. Expected Results: Well, icon colour selected should be visible in both views. Other property changes are AFAIK not hit by this. All updates normally, name change, etc. If you just change the type of icon (say, take it from "mime type" icons or others they update. What does not update is if you take "file system icons" and choose another colour. I'm not sure which component is ultimately responsible for blocking it. I noticed this behavior, because the machine I have virt-manager running on doesn't have a built-in optical drive (I have to plug one via USB) and subsequently it complained: Installation konnte nicht fertiggestellt werden: «[Errno 2] Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden: '/dev/sr0'» This is not a real problem, because it can easily be avoided with vm-install, but it is nevertheless quite annoying. Actual Results: kbd failed to start on boot, so there is no cyrillic fonts loaded in text terminal -> ureadable messages. When kbd restarted from text terminal fonts are loaded fine and all works ok.
