I have openSUSE 12.2 64-bit (tumbleweed) also, in /dev/sda1. Just after openSUSE 12.3 RC2 installation there were no openSUSE 12.2 entry in GRUB2 meniu. So I go to YaST bootloader module and just enabled booting from MBR. This helped to regenarate GRUB2 menu. Now there I see both openSUSE systems in GRUB2 meniu, but I can boot only to openSUSE 12.3RC2 64bit. If I try to boot to older openSUSE 12.2 64bit system, I see error message: error: version too old for 32-bit boot (try with `linux16'). Press any key to continue... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have installed openSUSE 12.2 64bit 2. Install openSUSE 12.3 RC2 64bit in other partition 3. Regenerate grub2 meniu (if there is no option to boot other systems, and you see only option to boot new openSUSE 12.3RC2) 4. After some investigation, I found out, that the route has not been set up correctly.
