See screenshot attached. Speculation: Maybe the module thinks it is only installing 1 package (as only 1 package is mentioned in the post-packages list above) and thus there is no progress until this (meta-)package is installed...? Upon selecting "Show unstable packages", a WARNING message is shown as below: "Please be aware that the following packages are from unofficial repositories. That means they are not reviewed by openSUSE and may contain unstable or experimental software." There is no message to inform the user of the security status of the repositories. The connection should automatically reconnect in this situation. >From my research, the solution to this is to provide the persist option to pppd: persist Do not exit after a connection is terminated; instead try to reopen the connection. Apparently this can be done explicitly by smppd-ifcfg or by adding "persist" to /etc/ppp/options. However, I haven't fully tested this but it seems like it should work.
