Attempt to edit the tree-view by right-clicking or using the edit toolbar button. Glade crashes. This is the message on the terminal:- Gtk-ERROR **: GtkBox child GladeEditorTable minimum height: -4 < 0 Editing other widgets works fine, the issue is seen only with the treeview widget. While trying to produce an strace log the application simply hangs after an attempt to edit a treeview instead of crashing. The strace log after manually killing the process, after getting it to hang, is attached. Path -> Trace Bitmap appears to offer running potrace on the bitmap. But nothing happens, when I hit [update] for the preview or the [OK] button. Try to login with a LDAP user using GNOME 3 desktop. 3. In 11.4 this situation was fixed by explicitly enabling tapping in the synaptiks settings afaik. But with the new synaptiks this apparently got lost. If possible we should probably also reintroduce disabling the touchpad on keyboard acitivity with a timeout of 0.8 secs. (like in 11.4, this nice default setting also got lost with synaptiks 0.7 upgrade it seems). This also raises the issue that synaptiks is not included on the live iso. But coolo said he'd look into that. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Do a fresh install 2. Try to tap the touchpad 3. Actual Results: Tapping doesn't "work". The user will usually think openSUSE/KDE does not support his hardware properly. This bug has been fixed in 0.9.1.
