Would it be possible to upgrade the parts/components library to 2012-01-19 as
well?
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~kicad-lib-committers/kicad/library/fileshttp://iut-tice.ujf-grenoble.fr/cao/
The current library in the windows installer seems to have some changes that
I'd like to have as well (updated atmel.lib). And of course everybody else
might benefit from that, too.
If nobody objects, we could have both the older and the new library in the
repo, just in case.

I'm currently working on MATE Desktop and exploring the possibility of donating
this work to openSUSE:Factory, if not accepted, then I'll merge it with
GNOME:Ayatana, since MATE supports a lot of features provided by GNOME:Ayatana.
Currently I'm working alongside with upstream[1] to fix all the stuff that is
triggering warnings on RPMLINT.
1. No support in Free Desktop standards for MATE. Please see the following bug
report on Free Desktop bugzilla:
I'm not sure if this requires any action from our side. It's the first time I'm
going this kind of situation, further guidance would be most welcome. If
there's anything we need to work out, let me know so I can go ahead and do it
(this includes coding if required, it's the first time I volunteer to donate
code).

openSuSE 12.1 x86_64 Final + Updates, KDE 4, LibreOffice 3.4.4 OOO340m1
(Build:1403)
LibreOffice 3.4.4 OOO340m1 (Build:1403)'s Writer often (99%) crashes when
exporting certain odt files to XHTML or when saving into doc, docx, & xml.
When Writer does not crash (1%), it informs the following error:
"Error al guardar el documento <filename>: Error de escritura.
No se ha podido escribir el archivo."
(English: There has been an error when saving the file <filename>: write error.
The file can not be written.")
The whole path to the location where I intend to save is +rwx, and belongs to
me.
The lenght of the path is not relevant, because Writer crashes whe saving in
smaller path, such as $HOME (/home/......./).
I realized that simple and tiny documents, mainly text, are saved fine.
But documents 155 pages lenght, containing numerous images (6), OLE objects
(20) and tables (20), Indexes (2), and many internal cross references, 12Mb,
produces this crash.
If user previously has not saved the document into odt, could lost data.
If user tried to bypass this issue by sending the document as MS Word Document
by e-mail, he will get the following error message (Thunderbird):
"El archivo file:///tmp/*******.tmp/*******.tmp/<filename> no existe por lo que
no ha podido adjuntarse al mensaje."
(English: "The file file:///tmp/*******.tmp/*******.tmp/<filename> does not
exists, so it can not be attached to the message.")
But Writer does not crash.
Saving as ODT works fine.
Saving to HTML works fine, although Writer renders an awfull html code.
Export to PDF, directly or by File > Export..., works fine.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Load a document of the kind described.
2.Save as.../Export to XHTML, doc, docx, & xml, or send document as MS Word
Document by e-mail.
3.
Actual Results:
Often (99%) Writer crahes; seldom (1%), it complains.
Expected Results:
Writer saved/exported finely to XHTML, doc, docx, & xml.
I have noticed this issue since the release of 12.1, but, as I prioritized the
writing related issues, I have postponed the time to submit this troubling bug:
files are often requested in MS Word formats.
