If I use the command "halt" switch of my PC and start switch it on again, everything works. But if I use the command "reboot", then the system skips the most of runlevel 5 booting phase during the next boot, leaving a system with only text login, without network, locale, etc. It seems, that I can manually start all rc-scripts, but this should have been done automatically by init. If I use systemd instead of sysvinit, then this problem disappears. Them being different leads to spurious error messages when running xelatex on a file that uses the fonts: ** ERROR ** Invalid glyph index (gid 2447) Output file removed. and the cause is mentioned in [1] and may be verified by simply replacing the texlive copy with symlinks to the freefont package files. Another problem with the texlive copy is that xelatex files that would render perfectly with the previous version in oS 11.3 now display corrupted freefont glyphs, if the freefont package is removed. Installing the freefont package and replacing texlive's copy of freefont with symlinks, as described previously, fixes this also. Formerly we had the policy of not requiring the packages via RPM Requires but interactively prompting the user for confirmation and installing them on the fly. I am mostly done now. I was about to delete remaining packages from within YasT with no left provider. In this list i have ncpfs; I wanted to delete it as i dont need it. YasT Said there was an error uninstalling: scriptlet failed, exit status 6 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. rpm -e ncpfs 2. rpm -e ncpfs 3. rpm -e ncpfs Actual Results: scriptlet failed, exit status 6 Expected Results: Should uninstall; I was trying to workaround forcing different rpms: I run SuSE 12.2: I overwrote the installed ncpfs for testing and tryed uninstallation with these rpms: ncpfs-2.2.6-161.1.x86_64.rpm <- SuSE 12.2 (Repository "network") ncpfs-2.2.6-169.170.1.x86_64.rpm <- SuSE 11.4 ncpfs-2.2.6-171.161.2.i586.rpm <- SuSE 12.1 Every of these give: "scriptlet failed, exit status 6" when uninstalling. All of the plasma objects were installed using the KDE factory repository. I tried to install daisy using the source from KDE-Look.org and it fails to compile. I believe that something changed in the KDE 4.8 libraries. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.install daisy with zypper in plasma-daisy 2.right click on desktop and install widget. 3.drag Daisy widget to desktop and watch the error message. Expected Results: Daisy plasmoid to appear.
