This has been proven to be true by compiling the same version version and installing it. Then reboot or /etc/init.d/gpm stop/start. Of course Yast2 > Hardware > Mouse is set and worked in X. It has failed to work correctly in a console in all of the 11.4 versions I see you are currently using gpm-1.20.6-462.2.i586.rpm which fails. Replaced with my rpm and it works. Copy the CA (in PEM format) used to sign the certificate of you LDAP Server to you LDAP client. 2. Start yast2-ldap-client, enter the LDAP Server Name 3. Click "download CA-Certificate". 4. Enter "file:</path/to/the/CA/file" and click ok. 5. Click "Fetch DN". You'll get a LDAP connection error popup indicating that the SSL handshake failed. On OpenSUSE 11.3, skanlite & xsane detect the scanner and both can use it with no problems. On OpenSUSE 11.4 M6, skanlite neither xsane don't detect the scanner. The printer part works well in 11.4, the problem is the scanner detection. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install HP-Deskjet-F4500 with Hplip. 2. Try to scan with skanlite or xsane. 3. Both will give error about no scanner detected. Actual Results: Both: xsane & skanlite give error about no scanner detected. These files should not be installed by boost-devel. It introduces file conflicts. If boost needs it only for its own build, it should not install them. if boost needs it for development of other projects, then we probably should submit autoconf-archive to openSUSE:Factory and depend on it.
