Go YaST > System > Language. Set primary language Lithuania, set keyboard Lithuanian. 2. Reboot 3. Press Ctrl+Alt+F2 4. Write with keys, that are below function keys line (F1,F2, F3...) Actual Results: Shows incorrect characters. But it successfully loads manually with # loadkeys lt.std.map This problem exist in openSUSE milestone 5, but not in openSUSE 11.3. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to /etc/sysconfig/keyboard and edit KEYTABLE="lt.std.map" YAST_KEYBOARD="lithuanian,pc104" 2. Reboot Actual Results: I have English keyboard Expected Results: I have Lithuanian standard keyboard in konsole and in X server Similar method worked fine in openSUSE 11.3. I resize it and close it, but then it reverts to its default tiny size upon launching it again. This is with compiz based desktop effects enabled. Without desktop effects once resized Firefox remembers its window size correctly and works as expected. Other tries like vfat, due to no -t option given survive: mount -v /dev/sda3 /mnt mount: you didn't specify a filesystem type for /dev/sda3 I will try all types mentioned in /etc/filesystems or /proc/filesystems Trying vfat Trying hfs Trying minix Trying reiserfs -> crash So I can reproduce the issue doing: mount -t reiserfs /dev/sda3 /mnt fdisk -l /dev/sda .. /dev/sda3 4289355 976768064 486239355 85 Linux extended /dev/sda5 4289418 23856461 9783522 83 Linux .. I can workaround the issue and clean up the script. Still I thought it's worth reporting, the crash does not happen on SLES 11 SP1. Several applications in the application-browser and gnome-control-centre do not register icons. They do have the correct icons specified iht corresponding desktop file but for whatever reason these items display the a common ugly icon (see attached png for details). I tried changing the icons from the alacarte as well, but no matter what icon I choose there, that is just not registered and the defailt is shown anyway. I also tried running SuSEconfig, and update-desktop-database but no result.
