This is a big inadequacy in my opinion and perhaps also a security risk. I suggest that the halt/restart buttons be disabled completely and not shown on the gdm shell when it is presented to a user upon choosing to "switch user" while another user session is logged in. Halt/Restart "works" from the gdm screen even if multiple users are logged in. The reason for not installing AppArmor by default was (IIRC) mostly that wasn't really maintained and some profiles were incomplete and accidently blocked something. Both things are solved in the meantime (better don't ask how many evenings I spent on the AppArmor package...). Chkrootkit has Version 0.49-8.1.2 and its installed from the OSS repository. Just to be sure i have rkhunter installed too to double check on chkrootkit. Using rkhunter i get no messages about Suckit rootkit or any other infection. A day before the system upgrade chkrootkit did not presented that message so i belive that this is a false positive. The same thing was reported by an Fedora user on their Bugzilla as well.
