Unzip out-of-the-box (compiled from sources) does not choose filenames encoding correctly. Developers from Ark say me, that the error is completely from info-zip project (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=204984) There are sime patches to info-zip's unzip package, that makes unzip extract filenames with correct encoding. But maintainers of info-zip project rejected these patches (http://www.info-zip.org/board/board.pl?m-1248086794) It would be nice to include this package in main openSuSE distribution. Clicking "Computer -> Shutdown -> Restart", only restarts the gnome desktop rather than restarting the computer. Note that this also applies to the equivalent command of "Shutdown". Generally speaking the second or third attempt to "restart" will actually restart the computer. Running "shutdown -r now" from the commandline as root works all the time, so I imagine that there is some sort of problem higher up in the stack. This is why I filed this problem against "GNOME". I haven't got a clue as which log I should be posting, so please let me know. You can find my version in /etc/resolv.conf.netconfig ... reading the code, I guess that NetworkManager always thinks that run_netconfig has failed, thus updates resolv.conf on its own, and then, when netconfig finally wants to update resolv.conf, NM already has changed it and thus netconfig refuses to do so. I'll attach a log from running NM with "--no-daemon" which will also show some GLib-GObject-CRITICAL around this time, which might be related. This looks like a memory leak to me. The greylistd already has a workaround to address such a kind of issue.
