From the log file, it seems that the initial connection for detecting the repo type works, but the file downloading fails. aria2 does not give much info in the zypper.log about the failure. I ran the aria2c command from commandline with a logfile specified and it seems to fail with the certificate handling: 2010-05-04 11:33:00.070200 ERROR - CUID#6 - Download aborted. I'm using Firefox 3.6.3 under Windows XP (sorry!), and I went to download the main normal installation DVD using the bittorrent link. That's not the problem, that worked fine. After that, I also went and tried to download the network install ISO without actually having left the page after getting the .torrent file. Of course, the torrent option is grayed out for the net install download as it should be. The direct link option is automatically selected since it's the default download for the netinst, but when the download button is pressed it navigates to: http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/11.2/iso/openSUSE-11.2-NET-i586.i… .. which of course doesn't exist. I had to manually cut .torrent off the end to get it. I know it's not a big issue in any way, I doubt many people try to get the netinst ISO right after getting the main DVD torrent, but just so you know.. that's what happens. This bug occurred after syncing repositories in may. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Yast and change the date and time settings. Need to off synchronization with NTP. Need to change timezone to Russia (Moscow). 2. The box "hardware clock is set to UTC" must be off 3. Reboot several 4.
