I copied a 1.5MB file to a CIFS volume and the copy operation hung. Fortunately it did not actually crash the OS this time; I did need to log out, though, since the copy operation was totally hung. The copy operation actually completed. The "updated" computer is an upgrade from v11.1 to v11.2. The /, /usr, ..., partitions are ext3; /home is reiserFS. I don't even have an xorg.conf and everything works perfectly (yay evdev!), however after returning from hibernate I don't have a mouse.
