The network is not under my control, though I can (and have) setup my own net to simulate the problem. The network uses WPA personal with TKIP. I have not had problems with other networks. In the network, the SSID contains the symbol '$' (which seems to be a part of the problem), and the SSID is not being broadcast. When I was using 10.1, I had no difficulty connecting to this network (with Network Manager handling it). Nothing I have tried works with 11.0 I have also tried configuring this network with Yast, or by directly editing the script "ifcfg-ath0". Neither works. Using an atheros card, and madwifi-0.9.4 is installed (compiled from source). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Attempt to connect to a network with '$' as part of the SSID, and hidden SSID. 2. 3. Actual Results: total failure. If the user waits for a significant time after initiating the copy, the paste will succeed. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open two spreadsheets, one with lots of data (many thousands of cells) and the other empty 2. Highlight lots (many thousands) of cells and copy (doesn't matter whether from ctrl+c or menu) 3. Immediately (without waiting!) try to switch to other spreadsheet using the taskbar 4. Paste (doesn't matter whether from ctrl+v or menu) Actual Results: There's a delay while trying to switch to the second spreadsheet. When trying to paste, nothing happens. Expected Results: The copied cells are expected to be pasted into the spreadsheet. Ideally, there should also not be such a noticeable delay when trying to perform the copy operation. Application has no auth to write or merge with this file. I would think that this issue only occurs when user elects to have default login user to have NO root authority - The Default action of Install is to make default login == root, If user elects default login user to have NO root authority many application cannot recognise this as request escalation at time of execution. See screen shot Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Nvidia Settings Application 2.Change nothing or change any action 3.Elect to either merge or write to X11 config File 4.Unable to write or merge with this file as user login has no root authprity. Actual Results: Unable to change anything in X11 config file from NvIDIA Application Settings Expected Results: If default user == non root and Nvidia Application called from menu - the application needs to request root authority if not present. Again it is clear the testing of 11.1 is only done of default Installation settings.
