I have copied the contents of the DVD to a directory /opensuse on harddisk /dev/sda2. I started the installation process with kernel boot parameters: install=hd:/opensuse linuxrc.debug=1 linuxrc.log=/foo Linux boot process OK Start of Linuxrc OK Start of Yast2 OK After accepting the licence agreement and keyboard layout selection Yast2 tried to create the repository. Balancing the cost of fixing this (a living hell to this developer) with the users discontent shown so far (1 report ;)), it doesn't seem worth it. You probably noticed this not as an user, but as a tester, while taking the UI for a work out right?
