Problem summary: Yast2 error with harddisk installation mode openSUSE
11.2-Milestone1 32bit
I tried to install openSUSE 11.2-Milestone1 32bit
(openSUSE-DVD-Build0066-i586.iso) to my Toshiba Satellite Pro A300 using the
harddisk installation mode.
I have copied the contents of the DVD to a directory /opensuse on harddisk
/dev/sda2.
I started the installation process with kernel boot parameters:
install=hd:/opensuse linuxrc.debug=1 linuxrc.log=/foo
Linux boot process OK
Start of Linuxrc OK
Start of Yast2 OK
After accepting the licence agreement and keyboard layout selection Yast2 tried
to create the repository.
There is a error message showing up:
"Unable to create repository
from URL 'hd:/opensuse?device=/dev/sda2'.
Details:
Failed to mount /dev/sda2 on /var/adm/mount/AP_0x00000001: Mounting media
failed (mount: /dev/sda2 already mounted or /var/adm/mount/AP_0x00000001
