Create an wired connection in NM-kde4 2. See that it appear in NM plasmoid 3. unplug ethernet cable and relogin/reboot 4. See plasmoid say "Network unavaliable" 5. Plug in ethernet cable, see inplasmoid. Now network exist, but connection list empty 6. Relogin with cable plugged in, see plasmoid connection list - now its ok. Expected Results: Plasmoid should load connection for network that became avaliable, may beeven show connection when network unavaliable Tested it on Milestone 1 KDE LiveCD and Factory Desktop on 11.1, both the same troubles. I am not completely sure, libpulsecore9 ist the correct package for libpulsecommon, but this will at least allow the 32-bit library to be installed next to the 64-bit library. I expect a live medium to be strictly read-only, unless the user has specifically enabled some sort of persistence feature. In my particular case, the system crashed during boot, but had written a (corrupt) .cow file to the USB stick, which made the USB stick unbootable (showing a particularly funny error message about Döner and rats). After I removed the .cow file manually, the USB stick was working again. Please do not write to the live medium unless specifically requested by the user. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Copy the contents of the Live CD to a USB stick, make it bootable with syslinux 2. This is caused by " ps aux --cols 1024" in the function tomcatIsRunning() of /etc/init.d/tomcat55 which cuts the tomcat-commandline so that the following grep does not find its patterns. The list of available serial ports is hard coded. These are patched ISOs that contain a MBR, so they can be used as .raw files on a stick. Our isolinux does not yet support it, but will soon. So I emulated it by running syslinux over our factory ISOs (copied to vfat of course). The problem there is, the ioslinux initrd does not care to check for USB devices.
