Sometimes at shutdown openSuse does not unmount the "/home" and/or "/" folders.
The "/" is mounted to ext3 filesystem, "/home" is mounted to XFS filesystem. At
shutdown i see "device is busy" message, but system continues shutdown process,
and this filesystems still not cleanly unmounted. This happens not each time,
but approximately in 2/3 shutdowns. I shutdown my computer via KDE 3.5 shudtown
menu. I does not see this truoble when shutdowning from console session.

During installation process in menu
"Configuration > Network > Network Configuration"
When YaST writes the Network Configuration, the "dashes" do not change (turn)
into "ticks". It can not be seen, how the process of writing the configuration
goes.
The same problem persists when writing:
"Hardware Configuration > Saving Sound Card Settings".

I have an IBM Netfinity Server, which I often remotely start, using Wake On Lan
(WOL). This feature worked well, until I installed OpenSUSE 11.1. Now, WOL
does not work at all. I have tried setting "HALT_NETWORK" in sysconfig editor
to both No and Yes. Neither option permits WOL to funtion.

Using an Adaptec AIC-9405 controller, create a single disk volume through the
controller's firmware and make the simple volume bootable.
During install, dmraid will see the volume and propose to partion
/dev/mapper/ddf1_Simple Volume into:
ddf1_Simple Volume_part5 /boot
ddf1_Simple Volume_part6 swap
ddf1_Simple Volume_part7 /
ddf1_Simple Volume_part8 /home
Accepting the proposal and continuing through the installer will eventually
fail in the "Preparing Your Hard Disk" screen with the following:
Error
Failure occured during following action:
Creating raid partition ddf1_Simple Volume_part1
System error code was: -1013
Switching to the F2 console and running 'fdisk -l' shows:
Disk /dev/sda: 36.4 GB
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 4425 cylinders
Disk /dev/dm-0: 36.2 GB
254 heads, 63 sectors/track, 4426 cylinders

Summary: partitioner fails to display used mount point for

Created an attachment (id=276193)
--> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=276193)
bzipped screenshort of yast2 partitioner window when editting (situation above)
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6)
Gecko/2009012700 SUSE/3.0.6-0.1.2 Firefox/3.0.6
I use this setup on one of my PCs (created AFAIR by hands w/ SuSE 10.3):
acer15:/etc # ls -l /etc/crypttab
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 183 2009-02-22 21:16 /etc/crypttab
acer15:/etc # cat /etc/crypttab
cr_olli-home.cfs /home/olli-home.cfs none luks,tries=10
cr_records-l1.cfs /home/records-l1.cfs none luks,tries=10
files_unsorted.cfs /home/files_unsorted.cfs none luks
acer15:/etc # grep cfs /etc/fstab
/dev/mapper/cr_olli-home.cfs /home/olli
ext3 user,exec,acl,user_xattr,noauto 0 0
/dev/mapper/cr_records-l1.cfs /home/olli/Records-l1
ext3 user,acl,user_xattr,noauto 0 0
/dev/mapper/files_unsorted.cfs /home/olli/mnt
ext3 user,acl,user_xattr,noauto 0 0
acer15:/etc # ls -l /etc/fstab
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1704 2009-02-28 12:12 /etc/fstab
acer15:/etc #
This is mounted by 'service boot.crypto start' manually .
Now dealing that w/ partitioner (partitions are already mounted):
This is avaliable on the right side of the screen when pointing mouse to
/dev/mapper/cr_olli-home.cfs below "Crypt Files" menu on the left side of the
screen:
Device:
Device: /dev/mapper/cr_olli-home.cfs
Size: 649.50 MB
File Path: /home/olli-home.cfs
File System:
File System: Ext3
Mount Point: /home/olli
And there is button 'Edit' below.
When pressing it I see empty value on partion mount point. :/
Also if I do not change anything and two times press Next - the mount point is
not deleted from files (yast2 seem to do nothing, but quit w/o changes).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. repeat setup similar to I 've noted above (fstab & crypttab).
2. service boot.crypto start
3. after encrypted partitions mounted - run partitioner from yast2->System.
Actual Results:
partitioner fails to display used mount point for encrypted filesystems when
editting already mounted partition.
Expected Results:
Obviousely the mount point should be present.
