I append a .tgz file that contains three bits of data: the global config from /etc/security/pam_mount.conf.xml, the luserconf file (/home/wflamme/.pam_mount.conf.xml) that is not handled correctly by pam_mount, and today's lines of /var/log/messages that handle my attempt to login. I see that mounts from my luserconf are rejected because of a missing "nodev" though I never require this. I also see that the very mounts in global conf work fine when mounting, but are not unmounted when logging out. As Jan Engelhardt mentioned, there is no difference in the behaviour of pam_mount between mentioning the <mntoptions> three times (<mntoptions require="" /> <mntoptions allow="*" /> <mntoptions deny="suid,dev" />) and putting those options together in one entry (<mntoptions require="" allow="*" deny="suid,dev" />). I press mute with audio playing - the sound mutes & a nice overlay pops up with a mute icon. I press un-mute: the overlay pops up without the mute symbol. Sadly however I hear no audio ;-) I press volume up (or down) and I get audio again. From 11.0 Our machine is a dual process xeon, used as a web server/imap mail. It is administered remotely over ssh. I had a imap process on my server using 100% of CPU. I tried using kill -9 to stop it without success. I then tried taking down dovecot imap with "rcdovecot stop" at this point I could no longer get the command prompt. I am now unable to login to the machine- it does answer a ping. This problem must be related to kernel driver for UMTS card, because runing vpnclient and any other interface of networkmanager (eth0 or wlan0) causes no problems at all. After the update of cpio, the installer wanted to reboot system with a message that kernel was updated.
