Ii know it supposedly does it automatically. But due to Bug 460020 I have to to a reiserfsck --rebuildtree on it quite often. An option to activate the mapping device would be sufficient, then the user can run fsck on it. Of course, the matching "remove mapping" option would be nice. The script should know that the mapping is active, and a "start" would not require the password. The timeout to enter the crypto-passphrase is set quite tight for an unattended boot process. In 10.3, I just changed the timeout to 0, which lets the system wait for a passphrase entry. In 11.1, this seems not to work any longer. For 11.2, it would be great if you could steer this with a /etc/sysconfig variable. For 11.1, a hint on how I can disable the timeout is appreciated. This means that (t)csh users do not get JAVA_BINDIR in their PATH.
