The latest version available online is 3.1 The software moved websites after 1.19 when it became 2.x. The website is http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/storebackup and download can be had from http://savannah.nongnu.org/files/?group=storebackup which points to a different mirror each time. The recomended thing to do is to only add this to factory and implement this later in 11.2, as upgrading other version might result in problem with the config files and potentially loss of backup data. aving such an outdated piece of software is not very good and the tool itself is grat to use and improved a lot to be much faster over network. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: The software is the wrong version. A much newer version is available. Actual Results: Version 1.19 is installed when using the RPM available on the OBS Expected Results: Version 3.1 should be installed. Boot from gnome live cd and press f9 in the bootmenu to enable accessibility 2. this should start orca after gnome start 3. The manual is displayed for real short moment and kpdf crahses then with SIGFPE. This happens on my Eee PC, running openSUSE-11.1 with latest fixes applied. Using my Laptop with openSUSE-11.0 (i386) or my workstation with openSUSE-11.0 (x86_64), the crash does NOT happen. In any case I'm starting the kpdf as local user. I used also the root account, to make sure it's not an issue in the environment (configuration files). kpdf crashes with any account. The network:utilities project doesn't provide 0.9.x library package though. This is probably due to the "Obsoletes" in the spec file. It would be easier for the user if ksnapshot was by default assigned to the print-key. On linux, that location should obviously be $HOME. There were some long-standing bugs in firefox that made it impossible, so i got used to downloading to $HOME/Desktop. (note that it's "Desktop" not "Plocha", "Arbeitsplatz" or "页文电子图书") And for a time, it was good. steps to reproduce: 1. do your packaging work 2. download a new version of a package with firefox (yeah, i know, should've used wget). this time it's GraphicsMagick-1.1.5.tar.bz2 3. back to shell, try to copy from download location to current directory: $ cp ~/Desktop/Gra<TAB> (beep) 4. aha, so we're (finally?) back to downloading to home? $ cp ~/Gra<TAB> (beep) 5. check manually... $ ls ~ (nothing of interest) $ ls ~/Desktop (nothing of interest) 6. open firefox download window, right-click the file, show folder !!!! 7. stare in disbelief as a Nautilus window opens with a directory called "Stažené soubory" (that's "downloaded files") !!!! 8. bang head against desk see, this is why openSUSE is hacker unfriendly! well okay, this might be firefox's fault, but anyway. whose braindead idea was this? not only creating a special directory for downloads (what was wrong with downloading to $HOME? oh, i remember, poor windows users don't get to see their $HOME ... alright then what was wrong with downloading to desktop?), but localizing its name? now come on, that is just ... wtf. Additional info: all download-related settings from about:config are on their default states. i like them that way, because i tend to change location of $HOME from time to time, and i can always rely on finding my files in ~/Desktop. As you see the code tries to resend an init string in case the was no response from the modem on the first try. The problem with the bug is the re-sending does not help even if the sending succeeds on the second try. This is due to "goto end_outer;" statement at the end of the above fragment. The statement makes the wvdial leave the init strings sending loop even after the re-sending succeeds. I guess it was a typo and the author's intention was to place "break;" statement here to proceed with sending the init strings. I did find this bug rather annoying due to my modem has a bad habit of not responding randomly on the first init string sent to it. It does respond when the string is resent, but the bug fails the wvdialer session anyway. I was forced to restart wvdial again and again until the modem's response to the first init string was catched from the first try. Finally I did find the bug and I am happy now thanks to the open source. Hopefully the fix will be in the next release. The patch for 1.56 is attached. Keep genprof running. 4. continue to use eg 5. wonder why git-update-ref reports a "permission denied" error... The reason for the problem is that the child profile is put into enforce mode. Hi Ludwig, This report is based on a post to the lirc ML: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_name=200904060131.08998.… For your convenience, I paste it here, more technical details are appended: While I got the basics up and running, I'm stuck in the details :-(. My remote looks pretty much exactly like: http://lirc.sourceforge.net/remotes/hauppauge/PVR-350.jpg Since it also has a sticker with "A415-HPG" sticking in the battery case, I chose the Hauppauge_350 section for my remote definition in /etc/lircd.conf, and removed the other entries (I've tried the A415-HPG-A model setting as well..). Now, if I press a number, I can see this number in an xterm on my KDE3 desktop, no problem. I can control kaffeine rudimentarily (e.g. with the numbers, but NOT with channel up/down buttons), volume up/down and mute modifies the master mixer in kmix and "power" really shutdowns the system grmpf(!). BTW, irw doesn't do anything at all. Without lircd, it simply says "connect: Connection refused", and with it running, it doesn't show anything at all. Terminate irw, and the xterm does show the numbers I'm pushing again. Note, all this only works, as long as irkick does NOT run. With irkick running, pushing buttons on the remote does nothing at all, consequently the irkick button push animation is missing (in earlier setups with kdetv and different hardware/remotes/OS 4-5 years ago, I got it working fine, btw). Choosing irkicks setup shows "Hauppauge_350" in the left pane (remotes and modes). I've tried to define a "TV" action to start kaffeine with the KDE Program Launcher, but given the facts above, nothing happens. After studying all docs/faqs/issues, I could find, I'm running off the ideas, on what to try next. The most nearby hint, I've found in: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=183545 stating, that "This guide is depreciated. Configuring Lirc for Hardy Heron is slightly different than before. New guide coming soon for Kubuntu and Ubuntu". Of cause something changed, but this all happend deeply under the covers and I seem to be unable to get this working well for my needs. So we have to tweak things with mylibrary6 providing the mylibrary package so that the lang package is installable.
