This happens with the current version 4.0.68, but I also had this flaw with previous pre-4.1 and 4.0.x versions. E.g. when just logging in to bugzilla, Konqueror asked again if I'd like to accept cookies from novell.com, although the site "novell.com" is already in the whitelist ("accept all cookies"). After I re-accepted the cookie, the whitelist contained two entries "novell.com". Trying to delete one of those "novell.com" entries results in removing both "novell.com" cookie settings from the list. Please note: this machine ran absolutely without problems with openSUSE 11.0. Such lock-ups have become less frequent as 11.1 progressed, but they are still there. I think I have tracked it down to the ThinkPad being on an AC connector and connected to a WLAN; running either on battery or not connected to the WLAN they don't occur. The card has worked flawlessly so far. However, this morning after a reboot, NM failed to connect to my AP. I changed the card to be manually brought up with ifup and kInternet and rebooted several times with no improvement. It simply didn't reconnect. Only after checking the card in Windows and then rebooting back into OpenSuse did the card come alive again. /var/log/messages is massive with messages from the ath5k driver about not being able to reset the hardware as described in the following bugreport: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12080 It looks as if the card gets into a state where the ath5k driver cannot reset it. However, the windows driver seems to have corrected that and it started working after that again. I'll attach the messages log for the last 4 hours which covers the period of it: working, not working with NM after a reboot, not working with ifup, and then it working again after I booted into Windows and then back into Linux. I'll also attach the relevant NM logs. Software: openSUSE 11.0 up-to-date :) Wifi card works with "b43" and "acer_wmi" fine. Almost fine. After running system and get connected with my AP, after ~10 minutes connection is disconnecting. I need to reload "b43" module to get connected again. Sometimes disconnecting happens few times per day. The distance between notebook and AP is approx. 3m and signal strength is perfect.
