Pressing F1 in help window again shows the meta-help. This includes: "Using the Help System The boot loader online help is context sensitive. It gives information about the selected menu item or, if you are editing boot options, it tries to look up information about the option in which the cursor is positioned." In Czech, it is translated as "Nápověda zavaděče je citlivá na obsah. Poskytuje informace o zvolené nabídce nebo pokud editujete parametry jádra, snaží se poskytnout informace o dané volbě." "citlivá na obsah"???? What meaning has this formulation? I had to switch to English to find out what could it mean. Also the second sentence might be formulated better. These texts are in the files lcn/trunk/bootloader/html/help-boot.cs.html lcn/trunk/bootloader/html/help-install.cs.html Other issues (in help-install.cs.html, I didn't check help-boot.cs.html): "Very new hardware sometimes requires ACPI to control the interrupt handling." translated as "Velmi nový hardware může ACPI vyžadovat pro správu přerušení." It displays either a clickable world map, or a clickable region map. You can click on the world map to display a particular region instead. You can also select the region in the combobox below, yet in that case the world map DOES NOT CHANGE to the region map. As Bug 400298 demonstrates, the cleaning out of /tmp occurs _after_ /tmp is being used by applications just starting up, thus removing information still valid. For a normal installation, this is only once, but when you go back and forward the dialogs, the initialization is always the same. This is mostly because the Timezone module doesn't remember being already initialized. For a simple solution, this could be used: --- cut --- boolean initialized = false; void Timezone () { if (initialized) { y2milestone ("Already initialized"); return; } ... } --- cut --- See the last few lines of YaST log. The logs comes from going_back=true. Note: this is on a VERY fast hardware :) ;) You see some longer delays on a normal HW.
