This happens in the case netsetup=1 and no default gateway is set. System is HP with integrated Netraid, running raid level 5. All went well, but during boot I see a lot of these errors: <6>sdc:<6>attempt to access beyond end of device <6>attempt to access beyond end of device <6>sdb: rw=0, want=71119511, limit=35566480 <3>Buffer I/O error on device sdb2, logical block 851200 After 10 minutes or so the system will boot and seems to run normally. If the raid is set up properly there should only be one disk "sda", however during boot is tries to access "sdb/sdc". Seems to be an issue with the megaraid driver v2.00.4. For example, it does not work in this description field. I do have "Check my spelling as I type" turned on in preferences. Spellcheck does work in firefox on 10.3 with the same home directory. I know some people have FF spellcheck working in 11.0, so I don't know what is different about my boxes. I'm running 2 11.0 systems, and FF spellcheck doesn't work on either box. After closing that popup, seamonkey is gone! I had more than eight of such crashes in the current and previous version of seamonkey. It always uses gconf if it is available to find the proxy settings. SUSE's Firefox 2 used it only if running under Gnome while otherwise it used the http_proxy environment variables if set. The default gconf setting should be to also read the environment variables and therefore in default configuration it doesn't make a real difference.
