Upon looking at the script, I saw that at line 109, this line is present: kdir=/lib/modules/`uname -r`/updates However, after the latest kernel updates, it is located in: kdir=/lib/modules/`uname -r`/weak-updates Changing that line was for me the fix. Perhaps that fix could be included in the next update of the Virtualbox package? Also, echoing 1 into /sys/proc/.../undock undocks fine, but the echo process hangs. Pressing the 'undock' button on my dock undocks fine, too. A bigger problem is that the only way to re-dock after undocking is to suspend / hibernate / power cycle, a reboot doesn't help. On windows all this behaves fine, undocking through software / button undocks fine, putting the laptop back in the dock re-docks it all fine. The three requested lspcis: - booting without dock - booting with dock - booting with dock, then undocked Don't differ at all, I've attached only one. I am using a Thinkpad T61 and experienced this same problem with 10.3, but I found a fix there: this was to upgrade to the opensuse build services new version of iwlwifi and iwl4965. The problem with 11.0 is it seems that the actual kernel module is no longer in an iwlwifi package, but it is in the kernel itself (I am using the pae kernel). Clearly there is a fix for this in the iwlwifi code, I would be grateful if this is imported into the 11.0 kernel. It is very confusing, because it means something like "Is upgrading".
