I would click about however that would fail. and it would continue to attempt until dns would time out. Temp when running only one desktop, and no applications beside that is up to 75 degrees, where some 40 - 45 was normal. It says: nothing provides openSUSE = 11.0 needed by product:openSUSE-FTP-NonOSS-11.0.noarch Steps to reproduce: Start installing 11.0 (preferably from FTP) Add the non-oss repo as an add-on Possible cause: non-oss/content has "REQUIRES openSUSE = 11.0", while oss/content has "PROVIDES product:openSUSE = 11.0". NM (NetworkManager) ignores them. So I registered my DSL account's username/password with NM. Nevertheless, on every first connection attempt after logging in to a new desktop session NM opens the "DSL Authentication" window and asks for the password (username is already present). Directly afterwards NM wants me to unlock the default keyring. (This order does not make any sense.) I also cannot check the 'System setting' checkbox in NM's "Edit DSL connection" form. It is not possible to change the ownership of those folders as user unless one knows about konqueror in root-mode or uses the konsole. The same issue arises, if one backs-up data and has a different UID when installing a new system.
